In The Meadow

I’m blessed to live in a gorgeous beach town on the Central Coast of California where the scenery is breathtaking.  Last weekend, Hubs and I were out and about running errands and stopped by a local park to take some pictures.  Hub’s first love is taking pictures of nature, but being the sweet man that he is, his second love is taking pics of me.

So, here’s the second installment of “What I Wore” with a little scenic beauty mixed in.  Enjoy!

The top is from Banana Republic. Unfortunately,  I can’t find it online, but check out this sleeveless alternative that I WON (along with the necklace I’m wearing in the pics) from Threadsense and Cheap Chicas. The necklace and the top come as a package deal for only $30; and the best part is that the necklace is detachable and can be worn with other outfits!

My jeans are by far the most expensive thing on me in these pictures.  They’re 7 for All Mankind and sell for about $120.  How can I justify buying such expensive jeans? I only buy one pair per year and they last FOREVER.  I’ve had some of my Sevens for at least five years now!

My shoes–sorry you can’t see them–are gunmetal ballet flats by Steve Madden. Once again, they’re a sale item (Loehmann’s to be exact) but I found a cute pair from Overstock.com for $24 that I like equally as well (the grey suede is my fave).

And finally, my bag: yeah, that’s from Target.  The exact one I have is, you guessed it, no longer available, but I found one that’s pretty darn similar for $29.

Happy shopping!
